Eleanor Uasal was born in 1425 CE in the Highlands of Scotland near Inverness. She was brought up in privilege. Her grandfather was a diplomat and Lord. Her parents were Angus and Bein Uasal. She was also affected deeply by the Chattan Curse. She was beautiful, elegant, polite, and ruthless in her quest to fulfill her pleasures. Eleanor became aware of her Curse at an early age. In 1429 Inverness was attacked and burned by Alexander, Lord of the Isles. Eleanor witnessed this attack and saw many of her own people killed. A few months later she had dreams of running through the woods and making a kill.
It was a while later, but eventually her dreams became reality. Eleanor turned fourteen in 1439. That year she manifested as an alpha-morph, and began her transformations into a white panther form. At first the girl was terrified of these metamorphoses, but soon she began to crave them. She loved the thrill of the hunt, the capture, and the kill. In the beginning it was only animals she hunted, but soon she set her sights upon more elaborate prey. There are rumours that she encountered a man meeting Gustov’s description that year.
Around 1445, she came across a wizard within the Order of the Dark Practitioners. Eleanor was powerful in magick, too. She joined. They soon learned of her Curse and nourished it. It was not too long before the real effects of the Curse began to take form. Eleanor birthed a bloodlust from deep within her soul. She craved the kill now and desired to take her experiences to new heights.
Unfortunately, in 1450, her father and mother found out about her associations
and demanded that she stop her nocturnal activities.
She killed them and then tortured all the servants to death.
Eventually her thirst for torture grew,
and she would have young men and women brought to her house for her enjoyment.
These atrocities continued for three years until she was discovered by a local priest.
The priest suffered a most horrible fate at her hands,
but not before conveying the news of what acts went on in her dwelling.
Thus in 1453, Eleanor had to get out of Inverness.
Instead of simply moving to another country,
she used her magick to create a new dimension that she would dwell in.
Before she could achieve that feat, however,
she had to bind herself with her dark Grimoire.
She did just that, vastly increasing the ease with which she could cast spells,
and then created her pocket dimension, providing herself with a castle
where she could live in style.
It was then her real reign of terror began.
Without the fear of discovery, Eleanor was free to torture and kill as many as she could. She and several other Dark Practitioners holed up in her new castle, making human sacrifice, torturing, killing, and toying with magick for their own desires. They killed thousands. Eleanor was now half mad with the curse, and so turned upon her fellow Practitioners. She killed them one by one. The rest of the Order sent assassins to take care of her, but they too ended up as victims. Making a rare appearance in our dimension, Eleanor went to the Dark Practitioners in 1456 and demanded that they make her High Priestess or die. They gave in to her demands, but she killed about half of them anyway before returning to her dimension.
Then on a morning like any other, Eleanor looked at herself in the mirror and saw what she had become. She then went completely mad. She no longer desired the Curse, but she did not want to die. The one thing she had been denied in her life was a normal existence. She would have that too. So she made plans to rid herself of her Curse, and as far as she knew there was only one way: become a god.
With the aid of her familiar Sebastian, Eleanor obtained the Scrolls of Hekate in 1459. As a precaution she transcribed many of the more important spells she needed into her personal Grimoire, making them more accessible to her power. She began making preparations to ascend to godhood. Before she could do that she needed to kill the one man who could kill her: her brother Eric. Eleanor’s arrogance let the son of her brother live; she felt he was no immediate threat and certainly would be no threat once she was a god.
Much later, Chelsea Chattan came upon the Grimoire of Eleanor Uasal
of the Clan Chattan in her grandmother’s attic.
Chelsea ended up casting a spell from the Grimoire,
and as a result on 2000-03-12, Eleanor awoke.
She found herself in her pocket universe, free of the iron coffin, but very weak.
By convenient coincidence, a witch by the name of Eric Hanford
had gained access to the Diary of the Mad Witch.
He and his coven of Dark Practitioners (in name at least)
used a spell from the Diary to access Eleanor’s pocket dimension.
Apparently the Eleanor and Eric got along together quite well.
Perhaps Eleanor felt some affinity with the man,
since the brother she had found necessary to kill was also named Eric.
In any case, three months later he came back with Eleanor in tow.
They went to Canada, searching for her grimoire.
By July 2000 the duo had reinstated the Order of the Dark Practitioners.
(It had dissolved as a formal order in 1476, shortly after Eleanor was imprisoned.)
With them as servants, Eleanor began travelling back and forth
from earth to her dimension,
kidnapping and torturing seven witches over a seven-month period of time.
All the while Eleanor was regaining strength.
On 2001-02-26, the seventh and final victim of Eleanor was found in Canada.
Then on 2001-03-03, Alice Dobson and Dot Carroll were kidnapped (also from Canada).
In the meantime, the tortured witches in Canada drew the attention
of Craftsman Detective Martel Harris.
The inscription “Touch not a cat bot a glove” found
carved on the final body directed him toward the Clan Chattan.
As a result, he was at the auction of the Diary of the Mad Witch,
thereby encountering Corrine Melpomene Chattan,
who wanted the Diary to find a way to control the Curse.
On 2001-03-06, Chelsea and Corrine said a farewell.
After Jacob mercifully erased the trauma from their minds,
Martel Harris accompanied the girls home,
returning them to their worried parents.
Originally, Eleanor welcomed the Curse, greatly enjoying the bloodlust.
She tortured victims for the sheer sadistic joy of torture,
only giving them the release of death when she had finished with her activities.
She would often loose herself in the bloodlust.
However, when she realised what it had done to her, she went totally insane.
This makes further analysis of her mental condition somewhat dubious.
Sebastian made the deduction that her normal bloodlust
was being subordinated to her desire to ascend to godhood and rid herself of the Curse.

Her murderous rampage through Scotland, however,
had caught the attention of a noble hero in the Netherworld, Marcus Lupus Ferox.
He was a Champion Wolf Pureblood, and fought upon the side of righteousness.
He meant to rid the world of the foul demon that was Eleanor Uasal.
When the Council of Three refused to support him directly,
he took her on clandestinely.
With the help of his men-at-arms and Lillith,
who agreed with Marcus, regardless what the Council had decided,
she was depleted of her energy and defeated.
They were not able to kill her,
so she was placed into an iron coffin
and buried within the castle in her pocket dimension.
Her dark Grimoire was then given to Eleanor’s brother’s family for safe keeping,
ending the problem of Eleanor Uasal, hopefully forever, in 1461 CE.
Modern Times
Simultaneously, the news of the tortured witches in Canada jogged
Chelsea’s memory of her adventure with the Grimoire.
Realising how dangerous the situation could be,
Ruth gave Chelsea the Grimoire to study.
The night of 2001-03-03, Chelsea and Sebastian viewed
the Council of Three and Marcus Lupus Ferox and the battle back in time.
That same night, Chelsea was captured and tortured by Eleanor into the morning.
The Sprite, with his chaotic magick, succeeded in bringing Raven
to Chelsea and then more or less rescuing everyone,
after a brief appearance of Eleanor in the earth dimension
where she and Corrine fought to a standstill.
By the afternoon of 2001-03-04, Eleanor was in her dimension, recovering,
while the others were at Ruth’s house also recovering.
That night, the whole crew of them,
Chelsea, Jubal, Corrine, Martel, Jacob, and Sebastian,
went back to Eleanor’s Realm.
After a pitched battle, Corrine and Chelsea together managed to destroy Eleanor
before she could complete the ascension spell.
On Eleanor’s death, her pocket dimension self-destructed,
taking with everything remaining inside,
Grimoire and stray Dark Practitioners included.
Battered, they arrive safely back at Ruth’s on the morning of the Fifth of March, 2001.
