The heir of the Prime Wizard Timon the Great was born in 5400 BCE. He attained the rank of noble wizard, an honourable standing that meant he would be able to take his place on the Council of THree.
When Timon the First abdicated in 5360 BCE, Alcaeus accepted the position of Wizard-Councillor even though his elder brother had priority. However, Mawr Timon did not feel able to accept the burden of guarding the Netherworld against war, so the mantle passed to his brother. With the other two Councillors still original, the new Councillor caught on to the routine easily.
Since he was not an Ancient, it was obvious that his tenure on the Council would be relatively short. How short, no one would have been able to guess. In 5332 BCE, Alcaeus Timon was severely injured in a fight with an alpha-morph from the Tribe of the Western Wolf. His arm was torn off. That, of course, made some spell-casting difficult. However, worse was the evidence that he had brain damage from several severe blows to his head. With his skills and decision-making capacity called into question, Alcaeus willingly abdicated his position.
Mawr was the only one who could take over as Wizard-Councillor. His preference was to continue his studies and not become involved in the minutiae of border disputes. However, he had a strong sense of rightness and honour. He accepted the mantle of Wizard-Councillor.
Alcaeus Timon was a man dedicated to the Craft, as are all wizards.
