See Councillor List. Mawr Timon, Alcaeus Timon (sons, deceased). |
| First appearance | Has not appeared. |
Timon was born somewhere in Europe nearly three thousand years before the beginning of the Portal Wars. He obviously spent most of his early years in the study of the Craft, for he rose to the very highest rank and power possible for a practitioner, prime wizard. Other than that, we know nothing about his life in general until Conall the were-wolf approached him in the ninth millenium BCE about ending the Wars.
Timon had been fighting his own battles over that time. Morphs had practitioners helping them. Other practitioners fought on their own. He was as weary of fighting as Conall was.
As an Ancient and prime wizard, Timon was probably the most powerful practitioner on the planet at the time. If he and the Wolf could come to some resolution, the odds seemed good that other practitioners would agree.
With two branches of the Netherworld united, Timon’s careful arguments and presentation were vital in convincing the vampires’ Mother and Progenitor Lillith to join them.
With the leaders of all three branches of the Netherworld standing united in their opposition to war among the kin, Lillith herself declared the Council of Three’s creation in 8096 BCE. (See Council, Origin.)
After that, Timon settled into the role of mediating disputes. He had two sons: Mawr Timon, born 5445 BCE, and his eventual successor, Alcaeus Timon, born 5400 BCE.
Timon served honourably on the Council for nearly three thousand years, using his long life as an Ancient to provide some stability. He abdicated in 5360 BCE and lived fifteen years more, seeing his son Alcaeus become a respected Councillor and worthy successor.
Timon was a man dedicated to the Craft. His political savvy was evident in his success in convincing Lillith to join them. He is considered a very important figure.
