In 1675, Senan Conall was born to Fifth Wolf-Councillor Mabon Conall in England. Perhaps Mabon had great hopes for his son as the name means “Little Wise Person” (Irish Gaelic).
As the seventeenth century wound down, Mabon Conall found himself under the scrutiny of agents from the Inquisition of the Damned. Rather than taking chances, Mabon Conall fled to the New England Colonies in 1701 CE, simultaneously changing his name to Liberius Conner. His son, obviously, became Senan Conner.
Liberius Conner abdicated from the Council of Three in 1750 CE, whereupon Senan assumed his position as Sixth Wolf-Councillor.
Eventually, in 1836 CE, Senan decided to return to England. One presumes that he never got used to the changes on the continent as a result of the American Revolution. At some point thereafter, he acquired a title and the right to be called Lord Senan Conner.
Lord Senan moved again to the United States, perhaps in a diplomatic role, and lived there until his death. He may have married an American wife, since his son, George Beowulf, was born in the US on 1910-08-04.
When World War One broke out over Europe, Senan stood with the Council of Three in agreement against Marcus Lupus Ferox: the problems were humanity’s problems, the Netherworld was not involved. (See Council, Dissolution.) Nonetheless, Senan felt obligated to fight in the war and joined the US forces. In 1917 CE, Marcus Lupus Ferox managed to murder Lord Senan Conner on a World War One battlefield, making it appear to be a normal casualty of war.
Senan Conner probably never saw his daughter, Sara Anne, born on 1917-09-08.
In any case, the death of Lord Senan triggered alarm bells for someone. His children were hidden away elsewhere in the United States and given new names and identities. At the time of Lord Senan’s death, George Beowulf was only seven-years old, far too young to assume Council duties. This may have been what prompted whoever was responsible for hiding the children.
When Marcus Lupus Ferox dissolved the Council of Three shortly before the end of World War One, no one knew where the Wolf-Councillor heir was, not even if he was alive. Since Lillith had been fond of Lord Senan, this just served to demoralise her more, making her unwilling to fight Marcus.
The death of Lord Senan was the final straw in the Council’s dissolution.

If the Council of Three had not been dissolved, he would have become the seventh Wolf-Councillor. As it is, he never had the chance. He did not encourage discussion about the Council of Three. |
