History

Lucy and Chelsea met in 1996 at Lee Ho Fook’s in New York City, where Chelsea got a job washing dishes and Lucy was bussing tables. The two struck up a friendship and when Lucy’s roommate ran out Chelsea took his place. The two were good friends, but not best friends. They would do things together, but only once in a while. Lucy was a prided herself on being anti-establishment and lived the life of the NY punk rocker, although she only knew a couple of guys in a band.

Lucy and Chelsea had a good relationship until Chelsea left to go back home to North Carolina in 1999. A weekend visit for Chelsea turned out to be a permanent return trip home. Chelsea did go back to New York City to settle things and help Lucy financially.

The two obviously drifted apart. Chelsea, who had promised to keep in touch, never did.

Finally Lucy joined the establishment, got a sensible hairstyle and a good job. On 2001-09-11, she started her new job at a company located in the World Trade Center Towers. She didn’t even have a chance to log in for the first time and show her expertise with Quark and Freehand before terrorists flew fully-loaded jet planes into the Towers. Lucy was among the over three thousand people killed in the attack.

Lucy’s mother phoned to tell Chelsea the news. She was heartbroken when she heard of her friend’s death. On top of her recent ordeal with Eleanor, Chelsea couldn’t handle the stress.

However, Chelsea later received a special gift. Lucy’s spirit came back to say good-bye to Chelsea. The ghost claimed that Chelsea being a witch enabled the girl to contact her friend. The two girls talked for a while and then said a final good-bye.

Personality

Lucy was a regular person. She might have liked being a punk rocker, but she obviously realised it wasn’t going to get her very far. She wasn’t amazing or fancy, just a nice young woman who could manage to go far in the world of business. She had a sense of humour. She will be missed.
