While I’m waiting for my computer to get back, I thought I’d upload something. This is an illustration I did back in back in 2000 or something. It’s Chelsea in a Virgil Finlay influenced surrealistic setting.
Also, going waaaaay back into the past, here is the first Chelsea art I ever did. It’s an gif animation as that was all the rage way back when.

The animation reminds me of the old comics.
I think I’ve worked out most of the symbolism of the main picture but what do the bubbles, large sphere and body of water stand for?
The sphere, (planet) is just decoration. Finlay used planets in his illustrations on occasion. The water, IIRC, was going to be a symbolism of Chelsea herself, as I was going to use water instead of fire and wind as one of the main forces she could control. Still plan on it. Water is a female symbol, as is earth. Fire and wind are male signs. The bubbles are there to protect Chelsea’s modesty as I originally drew it w/out the bubbles.

In the picture I only thought the bubbles out of place – just like the cloth draped over many peoples private parts in pictures in the middle ages
All the rest seems to fit for me, including the planet (gives contrast to the background)
P.S. on the computer-front… I can’t say I’ve ever noticed you mention specifically where you are located, just implications that it’s “back East” somewhere.
