Very complex politics!
If I understand Lillith’s proposal correctly, it’s that the Pope would agree to halt the Inquistion and allow the council of three to secretly off Dracula, to prevent the netherworld or certain elements of it from backing the Turks in a war against the Christians.
I’m not sure what part of what she said Chelsea is angry about. I presume the witch refered to is Eleanor.
Halting the Inquistion didn’t exactly work out..maybe Dracula turning into a vampire causes the agreement to fall through?
I don’t think that we’re supposed to feel sorry for Dracula so much as get an inkling of why he’s such a cranky, vengeance-driven bastard in the current timeline. If anything, it’s probably meant to drive home the fact that NOBODY is completely without blame in this situation. So that, you know, if some of them (*cough* Lilith *cough*) get hurt or destroyed in the process of playing their part in taking out Drac we’ll be able to see the poetic justice.

I suspect she’s calling Lillith a “bitch” because Lillith is proposing that one man should, in essence, be killed for political considerations.
wowww…even tho’ that one man is Dracula? I sure wouldn’t have any sympathy, even less if I was in her position
Never mind that the man in question NEEDS killing? I”m sorry, at what point am I supposed to feel sorry for this monster?

I was a little worried that I hadn’t mad Dracula evil enough. :\ I wanted him to be complex, but also, EVIL
