I suspect the pope issued his own edict against Dracula. It doesn’t, necessarily, mean that the Council of Three worked with the pope, it could just be that it was noted that the pope had commented on the issue.
Honestly, I’ve seen both Vlad III and Vlad IV. Originally I had it as Vlad III, but changed it after a bit of research. Upon looking at it again, Wikipedia, I changed it back to Vlad III. I should have known better. Wikipedia’s always right, right? Anyway, thanks for the correction. Appreciated.
Heck, if you want to get REALLY technical. He wasn’t called Tepes (impaler) until post-mortem.
But thats me taking a half guess that what we’re seeing above took place while Vlad was still alive and human. I certainly couldn’t imagine he’s be overcome by these guys if he was the feared vampire… But then again, maybe its before he had a full grasp on his power.
Um… errrr…. This whole dracula s$it has been going on for what…. five years?? Come on…. it’s really time to get our of your rut and move on to something new! Don’t ya think?
Please bear in mind that Jamie had the story planned out with a beginning middle and an end. The only reason that it has taken a long time is that he has had to take a lot of time off due to ill health as well as reduce the update schedule.
If you were to count the total number of pages then you’ll find that this story isn’t unreasonably long.
“[N]either alive nor dead, forever.” Sounds rather like Chelsea & Sebastian are witnessing the event which will incarnate Vlad Dracul as the vampire he’ll later be.
OMG Dracula bondage…….. sorry I’m in a bit of a perverted mood today.
The real question is, what on the goddess’ good earth do you use to bind the Prince of Vampires?
His Holiness?

Interesting… Wasn’t Vlad Tepes Dracula III the one upon which the Dracula vampire stories were based on though?

I’ve seen paper comics that seemed to run way longer for a story line… try following the X-Men sometimes LOL.
Not for nothing… instead of giving Jamie a hard time, go read something else until the story line changes maybe…
That way, Jamie doesn’t feel stressed about rushing the story, and you aren’t bored by reading something you have no interest in…
Fair compromise?
… Um, it would appear that Chelsea says “Deus Lups?” in the second frame. I’m pretty sure there’s a ‘U’ missing there.
