Hi Cats,
On April First, 2008 I announced that I was giving up Clan of the Cats. Most people immediately assumed that it was an April Fool’s joke. However, as you can see, the “new direction” still continues. I thought long and hard about this and it was not an easy decision to make, but I've always wanted to pull off a big joke like this. Yes, this is an April Fools joke taken way too far.

First of all I want to apologize from the bottom of my heart for such a dirty trick. I am very sorry but this thing just kind of snowballed out of control. I’m sure most of you will just roll your eyes, but to those we did fool, (or piss off), I am sorry. In my defense I will say that I posted that this was an April Fool’s joke on the COTC forum (scroll down) and anyone who emailed me was immediately told the truth. Also, I did not use my health as an excuse, which would be the only reason I would quit. And anyone who knows me knows how I feel about Manga and I would delete the site entirely before going with that style for COTC. That said, I want to thank Mike Moon for putting in some long hours and doing some incredible work on the faux COTC. Manga style art may not be my cup of tea, but I have a great respect for his work and the style in general.
Finally, I want to thank you all for putting up with us for this past week. I now have a nice little buffer and with luck there should be no long gaps in the archives for a while. Please accept the wallpapers below as the peace offering they are meant to be. :)
Regular COTC returns Monday, April 7th.
